Summer Bridge 2026: Eligibility & Pre-Registration

Am I Eligible?

All incoming first-year students are welcome to pre-register for the Summer Bridge Program. During the pre-registration screening, eligibility will be determined based on the following criteria:

  • Enrolled as a full-time, first-year undergraduate student at UC San Diego starting Fall 2026
  • Not a transfer student
  • Not an international student
  • Able to commit to attending the full five-week program during Summer Session

If the number of pre-registrations exceeds the available slots, priority will be given to:

  • First-generation college students
  • Students with financial need
  • Former foster youth

Thank you so much for your interest in the Summer Bridge 2026-2027!
