Summer Bridge Important Dates

Here are some important dates to highlight for our 2024 Summer Bridge Program.

• April 18th - Summer Bridge Pre-Registration is LIVE via your UC San Diego portal (once you accept your offer to UC San Diego). You can also access the pre-registration form via our homepage. Please note that you CANNOT pre-register for our program until you AYO (Accept your Offer).
• Mid May - The Summer Bridge team will be notifying you of your registration status for the Summer Bridge program. Our review process is on a rolling basis. 
• June 17th - Summer Bridge Pre-Registration will be closing at 11AM. If you have any technical difficulties during this time, please do not hesitate to email us at summerbridge@ucsd.edu. 
• June 30th - Our Summer Bridge deadline for students to complete the Math Placement Exam (MPE). For more information, please refer to the Math Testing and Placement website. 
• August 3rd - If you are offered housing for the summer component of the program, you will be expected to move onto campus on August 3rd. 
• August 4th - Summer Bridge Orientation for all Summer Bridge students (residential and virtual)
• August 5th - First Day of Instruction for all Summer Bridge students
• September 7th - Move-Out for Residential SB Students + End of the SB Summer Program
• September 23rd - Fall Instruction begins for Fall Quarter '24 and the academic year commitments for Summer Bridge starts!
